Is just around the corner in 2020...
Wow! The 2019 inaugural Swanpool Motor Festival was a huge success with 180 vehicles on display. What a difference a new format can make. Swanpool is leading the way in rural Victoria, holding a relaxed motoring festival that attracted more cars than other neighboring shows that have run for years. Images of some of 2019 cars are shown, all of them worthy of taking home a prize from the $2000 prize list.
In 2020, the Swanpool Motor Festival will not only include many of these display vehicles but also some very exciting cars that have not been shown in the North/East region. Further details on these vehicles will be disclosed on our Facebook page Swanpool Motor Festival.
The next event will be held at the Albert Heaney Oval, 2426 Midland Highway, Swanpool on Sunday 2nd February 2019 with gates opening at 8am. Entry for the public is a gold coin donation that will be distributed between the local three CFA Brigades, Swanpool, Samaria and Lima South. Entry for display cars is $5 and the car must be on display until 1pm to share in the prizes valued at $2000.
The Swanpool Motor Festival is open to anything with an engine. There will be Cars, Pickups, Utes, Trucks, Tractors, Buses, Motor Bikes, Boats and Race Cars.

There will be some Swap Meet Sites available for spare parts new and old, motoring memorabilia along with an outdoor Village Market Stalls for local produce, plants and bric-a-brac situated on and around the oval. Fees for a Site or Stall is $20 (3m x 9m) or $35 (6m x 9m). Larger trade sites are also available – POA. An additional fee for public liability insurance will be charged. During the day we will have live music, courtesy of our local radio station, Radio Mansfield 99.7”who will be broadcasting live from the festival in their outside broadcast van. Display vehicle owners will be interviewed about their vehicle. Music will be played from the broadcast van with the announcer taking requests.
A coffee van will be on site, as well as take-away food (egg & bacon rolls, hamburgers, sausage sizzle). Lunches, with morning and afternoon tea will be served in the air-conditioned café. You can also enjoy a glass of wine with your meal from several local wineries with tastings and sales available.
All profits will be distributed between local community organisations, with the funds set aside for maintaining and improving the Albert Heaney Oval facilities in Swanpool, providing an outdoor venue for Swanpool & Districts Associations and residents to use.
