Currently the only Neighbourhood Safer Place in the area is the Swanpool & District Memorial Hall, Midland Highway, Swanpool.

When burning off outside the nominated fire danger period please call 1800 668 511 before you light up. This will avoid brigades being dispatched to the scene unnecessarily.
The nearest SES unit is in Benalla, with Mansfield being a further 10 minutes away. If you require assistance with storm damage, or are in need of rescue assistance please dial 132 500.

We need volunteers, especially during week days. If you are available, male or female, we would love to hear from you. Basic training is provided by the CFA and you will be mentored by an experienced brigade member through the training process.
